ANYONE who has been to New Zealand’s world-famous ski resort town of Queenstown can attest to its majestic beauty and buzzing nightlife.

Now, a new Perth-based boutique ski and snowboard tour company hopes to introduce the wonders of the South Island tourist destination to a greater number of WA travellers.

Thurlow Snow Tours (TST) takes small groups of up to 16 people to Queenstown, as well as destinations in France.

TST director Colin Thurlow said the company provided a holiday of a different kind, with a strong focus placed on ensuring each guest was given the opportunity to spend time learning and improving skills in skiing and snowboarding.

“It’s about introducing West Australians to the amazing sport of skiing and snowboarding, and giving them the time to really focus on their skills so that they have the confidence to experience what these ski fields have to offer,” Mr Thurlow said.

“We co-ordinate all the necessary arrangements, including flights, accommodation, most meals, all transfers and also private tuition by some of the country’s best and most qualified instructors.

“Trips are up to two weeks, giving guests enough time to not only immensely grow their skills but a chance to experience the sights and culture of their host country, as well as meet those who are just as passionate about skiing and snowboarding in a fun environment.”

TST also provides a host who will accompany guests throughout the entire trip.

Thurlow Snow Tours is currently taking bookings for a trip to Queenstown, New Zealand, in August. For details, visit the website at www.thurlowsnowtours.com or email talk2us@thurlowsnowtours.com.
