COMMUNITY radio station RTRFM’s Fremantle Winter Music Festival hits the town on Saturday.

This year, it will take over Mojo’s Bar and the Railway Hotel in North Fremantle for a night full of tunes and beats sure to warm a chilly night.

RTRFM local music producer, director and events manager Dave Cutbush said the organising team had assembled a bunch of great bands for the Railway Hotel program, including the dark folk rock of Felicity Groom and the Black Black Smoke, the groove- laden rock of The Harlequin League and Perth indie rock legends such as Adam Said Galore and Meaty Riffmeisters.

“On top of all the live action we have great pleasure in presenting a DJ line up par excellence at Mojo’s Bar,” he said.

“Get your dancing shoes on for the multi-award winning drum ’n’ bass producer-DJ Shock One, the Tuesday Full Frequency techmeister Massiv Trav, the Community beat freak Diger Rokwell, the Down Underground dub deviant Sibilance and the chest-shaking sub-sonic production of Ylem.”

Presale tickets are available now.

Subscribers can buy them for $15 online at http://www.rtrfm. com.au/events or at the offices of RTRFM in Beaufort Street, Mt Lawley.
